With over seven years of experience in finance, operations, and P&L management, Briana has excelled in driving revenue growth and creating innovative solutions for both startup and large corporations. Known for managing large product sets, strategic pricing, and data analysis, Briana has a proven track record in leading teams and successfully driving business objectives. Currently serving as the Chair of the Board for the Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps of Colorado, Briana combines her leadership skills with a passion for community service, ensuring the organization’s mission is fulfilled effectively.

As a board member for the non-profit Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps of Colorado, Kristen brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning and product management. Currently serving as a Product Manager at Spectrum Enterprise, Kristen is adept at analyzing market dynamics, streamlining processes, and developing go-to-market strategies to drive substantial revenue gains. With a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and fostering cross-functional collaboration, Kristen is committed to leveraging her skills for fundraising and her expertise to advance the mission and impact of the Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps in serving the community’s needs.

Aaron Dollarhide is a seasoned professional with a strong background in customer service, sales, and leadership spanning over 15 years. Known for their creative problem-solving abilities and collaborative approach, they have consistently excelled in various roles. In their most recent position as a Sales Development Representative, they played a pivotal role in generating sales opportunities. With a passion for coaching and personal development, Aaron previously owned and operated FFB Coaching, where they empowered individuals to unlock their potential for healing and creating the life they desire. Equipped with expertise in sales, communication, leadership, and critical thinking, Aaron is well-suited to serve as a board member for the nonprofit Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps of Colorado.

– Executive Director

Veronica Moody is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in public health and emergency preparedness and response. With a background deeply rooted in service, Veronica began her career in the United States Air Force as a Public Health Craftsman, where she was entrusted with overseeing a wide array of public health activities and programs. In this role,
Veronica’s responsibilities included supervising, training, and evaluating cross-functional public health office staff. Her expertise spanned across areas such as communicable disease surveillance and investigation, environmental health surveillance, vector surveillance, zoonotic and occupational disease prevention, medical entomology, food safety and security, food facility sanitation, and medical decontamination.

Following her service in the Air Force, Veronica transitioned to roles in the civilian sector, including positions at Battelle Memorial Institute as an Analyst assigned to Buckley AFB CO 460th Medical Group and Department of Homeland Security, Office of Health Affairs in Washington DC. As a Medical Countermeasures for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) incidents, she provided subject matter expertise on CBRN medical planning and emergency response, analyzing vulnerabilities and threats while advising commanders on response plan provisions. Veronica also served as a National Exercise Planner, technical specialist, and subject matter expert for exercises designed to address all-hazards threats and responses to chemical and biological terrorism.

Veronica’s commitment to public health emergency preparedness and response continued as she assumed the role of a Public Health Emergency Preparedness Planner at Tri-County Health Department in Colorado, where she focused on mass prophylaxis and ensuring access and functional needs were addressed in emergency plans. Her contributions extended to various leadership positions, including Logistics Section Chief for the Public Health Incident Management Team and Co-Chair of the Colorado North Central Region Access & Functional Needs Committee.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Veronica has been actively involved in volunteer roles, serving as Executive Director and Unit Coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) of Colorado, member of the Douglas County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Logistics Team, and member of multiple workgroups within the National Association of City & County Health Officials (NACCHO).

Veronica holds an Associate of Applied Science in Public Health from the United States Air Force and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

– Access & Functional Needs Advisor

Julia Beems, MA, is Senior Instructor, Assistive Technology Program Outreach Coordinator, and Emergency Preparedness Program Coordinator with the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Colorado Denver|Anschutz Medical Center. She also holds a secondary appointments in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Department of Pediatrics. Ms Beems was trained as a horticultural therapist and rehabilitation counselor/vocational evaluator. She has worked in the field of assistive technology for over 30 years providing assessments, technical assistance and training to individuals with disabilities their family members and the professionals who serve them. She has developed a program to assist the first responder and emergency planner communities
and individuals with all types of disabilities and all ages prepare for emergencies. Ms Beems current responsibilities include providing emergency preparedness/management trainings and outreach services across Colorado to individuals with disabilities and their family members; professionals from educational, employment, healthcare and emergency response agencies who work with them; policy makers and legislators; and the general public. Her areas of expertise include low-tech, low-cost assistive technology solutions, emergency preparedness, and modifications for the rural and agricultural communities. Ms Beems represents CIDE as a member of the North Central Region Functional Needs Steering Committee, the state Community Preparedness Advisory Council, and FEMA Region VIII Regional Advisory Council. She has been recognized by the American Horticultural Therapy Association for Humanitarian Service and by AARP as an Outstanding Community Partner.

– Safe Infant Feeding Advisor

Allison Wilson (she/her) is a Safe Infant Feeding Advisor with Rocky Mountain MRC. She has been partnering with RMMRCO on expanding a Safe Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies local project into a Mission Ready Package(MRP) that is available statewide. Our Safe Infant Feeding MRP trains volunteers to help families with children be prepared pre-emergency and can deploy a skilled volunteer team during an emergency to support families with feeding needs.

Allison is also an Access & Functional Needs (AFN) Specialist with Jefferson County Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness (EPR) Team where she facilitates AFN and family health considerations being integrated into emergency plans, response and recovery. She holds an MPH degree and has worked in public health for 16 years. When she isn’t working, she likes baking messily with her kids, jogging slowly on Colorado trails, and traveling to new and familiar places.
